Nepean Synchro ended another season as a top-ranked club in Ontario, finishing second overall at the Ontario Open Age Group Synchronized Swimming Championships, held in Etobicoke, from May 21-24. Nepean Synchro has been a top three club for the past five years in a row.

In an event featuring over 600 swimmers. Nepean Synchro swimmers won gold, silver and bronze in several categories and earned top six placings, as well as season bests, in many more. See full results here.

Highlights at this year's season-ending championship event include gold medals for the 13-15 duet of Natasha Strong and Jade Warren and the 13-15 team, TMG, which also won the 15 year old trophy. Kristin Stremlaw won silver in both the 13-15 solo and 13-15 figures, as did the 10 & Under team, TEC. Jade Warren won bronze in the 13-15 figures, along with the 13 year old trophy for figures.

These Championships are also an opportunity to recognize swimmer, coach and volunteer of the year. This year, swimmer Elise Bourdeleau, coach Emma English and volunteer Kristin Armstrong received their awards at the annual banquet held during the championship competition.

Congratulations to everyone for not only a great season-ending competition, but a great season!
