Nepean Synchro Helps Kids Get into the Game

Nepean Synchro ended it's Novice/Recreation season with its annual watershow, during which all Recreational, Novice and Competitive swimmers performed their routines for family and friends. Competitive swimmers showed off their routines for their family and friends for one final time in Ottawa before heading to the season-end competition, the Ontario Open Age Group Synchronized Swimming Championships, held in Etobicoke at the end of May. Entry to both events was a donation to support KidSport Ottawa. Spectators were generous, and Nepean Synchro is thrilled at having raised $1497.80 in support of KidSport Ottawa.

KidSport Ottawa, a local chapter of KidSport, provides financial assistance to individual families for registration and sports equipment costs. Through the generosity of those attending the club's season-end events, at least four local children will be able to receive support through KidSport Ottawa for registration costs.
