We welcome all swimmers to Nepean Synchro!

Synchronized swimming is a sport that blends grace, creativity, beauty and the love of water while developing endurance, agility and strength. Unless you are transferring from another club, we require that all new to synchro swimmers complete a year of recreational with the club to be evaluated and recommended to our competitive stream. This is based on a number of factors, including their skill and enthusiasm for the sport and sportsmanship. Practices run from September through to May, and hours of training vary depending on program and age group.

The club’s Executive Committee and coaching staff are dedicated to ensuring a positive atmosphere of co-operation and encouragement is fostered with swimmers and teams. Nepean Synchro has high expectations and standards for all members: recreational and competitive swimmers, coaches and parents alike. A strong code of conduct and high standards of good sportsmanship are inherent to the club culture and philosophy, and to our success. The Code of Conduct was developed to ensure a safe and positive environment within the Nepean Synchro Swim Club, by making swimmers, coaches and parents aware of the expectation of appropriate behavior, consistent with the values of the club. These expectations apply to both personal interactions and interactions in social network media.
